Masking Tape Shoes

I modeled these shoes after a pair of Adidas I found at a thrift store. There were many layers to the shoe itself with lots of texture on the exterior. I used my Xacto knife to cut into the layers of tape to add texture while rolling up balls of tape to add volume and density. They are a bit beat up looking which makes them well worn and cartoonish. I imagine a Simpsons character wearing them.
